Carlos Roberto González Meyer and Maria Fernanda Navarro Magana have been in Canada for only eight months. Their favourite thing about this country is its inclusive and receptive culture. The young couple is studying Business Administration at Western University. They are looking forward to building a rewarding career and a new life together.
During the past 18 years, Daniel Negrea has established a successful career in Canada. Negrea's professional background, networking skills and persistence are the cornerstones of his journey to this point. "I am Canadian," he says, adding that he's developed himself into a better individual and he's proud of his professional accomplishments and his family.
Joe Costa has successfully built an entire business from the ground up. He arrived in Canada as a young man with his family and started his career in the trades. Later in life, he opened a small Portuguese bakery with his brother as a side job. Neither brother was aware that 30 years later, Caldense bakery would exceed all expectations. Caldense is Toronto’s favorite Portuguese bakery and as of recent years has been expanding all over the GTA.
